Lake Garda, with its mild climate and the perfect temperature of its waters, seems almost like a sea set between the Alps and the Po Valley. 

Surrounded by palm trees, oleanders, olive trees and vines, on its shores rise picturesque villages, beaches and marinas, large towns full of life, parks and nature reserves. 

Desenzano has a beautiful lakefront, where you can walk and admire much of the lower lake Garda, with panoramic views of Sirmione, Bardolino, Lazise and Peschiera del Garda.

The old port is a picturesque corner a short walk from the center, with its Venetian bridge and houses in typical Venetian style.

After a stroll through the old town, among open-air works of art and characteristic stores, it's time for the Castle: built to defend the territory from the barbarians and fortified around 1400, the castle is a majestic and imposing work that dominates Desenzano and from which you have a breathtaking view of the entire Garda Lake.

On board a private boat, you’ll enjoy the calming sense of the lake as you sail (about 20 minutes) to Sirmione, admiring the shores of the lake and taking in beautiful views.

The first thing that strikes you is the imposing Scaliger Castle, which is located right at the entrance to the historic center: dating back to the thirteenth century, it is one of the best preserved castles in all of Italy, as well as being a rare example of a marine lake fortification.

Let your guide lead you through the narrow streets of the old town and its particular stores, take a walk along the lakefront, reach the paradisiacal Jamaica Beach and visit the archaeological area of the Grotte di Catullo, which preserves the remains of one of the most important Roman residential villas in northern Italy.
