The fashion people invade the city of Milan for the upcoming fashion week, which kicks off tomorrow, Tuesday 18 February 2020.
To go on stage is the fall winter fashion of 2020/2021: with 56 fashion shows, 96 presentations and 34 events between art, fashion and culture, the program is so rich and varied.
The Municipality of Milan and the National Chamber of Fashion collaborate in the relaunch of a crucial event for the city, which occurs 4 times a year and involves not only those working in this sector, but also citizens and tourists.
Among the events to be mentioned, the "Memos - About fashion in this millennium" exhibition opens at the Poldi Pezzoli Museum on Wednesday 20 February and will be open to the public from 21 February to 4 May.
On display we will be able to admire clothes, magazines and objects that are part of the history of fashion and costume, including creations by Giorgio Armani, Riccardo Tisci for Burberry, Prada, Alessandro Michele for Gucci, Fendi, Pier Paolo Piccioli for Valentino, Versace, Gian Battista Valli.
A hymn to Italian creativity and Made in Italy savoir-fare.
The catwalks and presentations will be hosted in prestigious settings, such as historic buildings and churches: for example, Elena Mirò opts for Palazzo Clerici, one of the most luxurious and sumptuous eighteenth-century houses in the city, and Emilio Pucci chooses to present his collection within the basilica of Sant'Eufemia, in Corso Italia.
Thanks to Gb Style you will have the opportunity to experience the fashion week as protagonist, discovering the collections of the great names of Italian fashion, including fashion shows, presentations and exclusive events, accompanied by a professional photographer who will immortalize your boldest looks and the most glamor moments.
